Ash Austen Stepping Down as Club Safeguarding Officer

Olie Hanson11 Mar - 14:22

Thank You Ash!

At the end of this season, Ash Austen, our Club Safeguarding Officer, will be stepping down from his role.

The role of Safeguarding Officer can be extremely hard, but at the same time, incredibly rewarding. Ash has taken the lead in creating a safe and supportive environment for all of our players and we are eternally grateful to him.

Our Chairman, Dim Arlando, added: "On behalf of the club I’d like to say a huge thank you to Ash for taking on this key role. His common sense approach and supportive nature has ensured that our players at all levels have been well protected. He has helped foster an environment that has allowed them to also be comfortable to speak up and for me that’s a hugely important aspect of safeguarding."

Thank you for all of your hard work, Ash!

The club will be recruiting a new Club Safeguarding Officer in the very near future to ensure a smooth handover. If you'd like to put your name forward, please speak to Dim Arlando.
